Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Operator In Charge for diesel power plant operations in Oman. The role requires strong hands-on experience in diesel engine operation, supervision of plant activities, and ensuring safe and efficient O&M practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Secondary School Certificate with Science or Vocational Training
Minimum 8 years of experience in diesel engine operations
At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
Proven experience in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of diesel generators
Good understanding of plant safety and operational procedures
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operation of diesel power plant systems
Supervise operators and technicians during shifts
Ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations
Monitor equipment performance and operational parameters
Coordinate routine inspections and basic maintenance activities
Report operational issues and ensure compliance with standards
Salary & Benefits
Salary: OMR 200 per month (Approx. ₹47,000)
