We are hiring Engine Room Operators for diesel power plant operations in Oman. The role involves operating, monitoring, and assisting in maintenance activities of diesel generators to ensure safe and uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate diesel engines and auxiliary equipment in the engine room
Monitor engine parameters, gauges, and control panels
Assist in routine maintenance and inspection of diesel generators
Report abnormalities and operational issues to supervisors
Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
Maintain cleanliness and order in the engine room
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in diesel power plant operations
Basic knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, and control panels
Experience working in engine room or power station environment
Ability to follow instructions and work in shift operations
