We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to join an industrial diesel power station in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generator systems and associated electrical equipment, ensuring safe and continuous power operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical maintenance and servicing of diesel power station equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in generators, control panels, and distribution systems
Maintain generator controllers, alternators, and electrical protection systems
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams
Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations
Requirements
Secondary School Certificate with Technical / Vocational Diploma
Proven experience in electrical maintenance of diesel power stations
Experience in troubleshooting and repair of:
Cummins, Caterpillar, and Wärtsilä diesel generators
Generator controllers
Stamford alternators
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety practices
Salary Package
OMR 200 /- Total
Basic: OMR 110
Food Allowance: OMR 25
Fixed Overtime: OMR 65
