Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Station Engineer to manage the operation and maintenance of large power generation facilities in Oman. The role involves supervising plant operations, leading technical teams, and ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted power production.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operation and maintenance of power station equipment
Supervise engineering and technical teams on site
Ensure optimal performance of diesel generator systems and auxiliary equipment
Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
Monitor plant efficiency, safety compliance, and operational standards
Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate timely corrective actions
Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and shift documentation
Coordinate with management to meet operational and performance targets
Qualifications & Experience
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 8 years of experience in operation and maintenance of large power stations
At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
Hands-on experience with diesel generator brands such as:
Cummins
Caterpillar
Wärtsilä
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Salary & Benefits
Salary: OMR 500 per month (Approx. INR 1,19,000)
