We are hiring experienced Control Room Operators for an industrial power facility in Oman. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and controlling industrial diesel generator systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. This role requires strong technical expertise and hands-on experience with large diesel generators.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor control room systems for diesel generator operations
Ensure smooth functioning of power generation equipment and auxiliary systems
Monitor parameters, alarms, and system indicators to detect abnormalities
Coordinate with maintenance teams during breakdowns or emergencies
Maintain operational logs, reports, and shift records
Follow safety procedures and operational standards at all times
Ensure compliance with company and site safety regulations
Qualification Required
Secondary School Certificate with Science
Experience Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in operating industrial diesel engines
Hands-on experience with:
Cummins Diesel Generators
Caterpillar Diesel Generators
Wärtsilä Diesel Generators
Salary Package
OMR 170 /- Total
Basic: OMR 91
Food Allowance: OMR 25
Fixed Overtime: OMR 54
